The City museum in Litovel
The beginnings of museum in our city go back to the year 1907, but present museum was opened in 2004. Thanks to that is the City museum in Litovel relative new and progressively growing cultural institution. It is situated in the first and second floor of the building the former city shooting range. The second floor was opened in January 2016; before that moment it was only empty attic.
In the first floor of the museum is situated ticket office and shop, where can be bought many postcards, regional books and other beautiful souvenirs. Unfortunately, there cannot be used credit cards, euro or another currency except CZK.

In the 1st floor
Handicrafts in Litovel in the 1st half of the 20th century – the atmosphere of the last century in our region is presented by several craft workshops, tools of the craftsmen and their products
In the 2nd floor
Gustav Frištenský – life, achievements, family and friends of the world famous wrestler, who was living in Litovel between 1908 and 1957, and his legacy in the city today
From the mechanical musical instruments to the modern gramophones – the story of music from the nineteenth to the twenty-first century show the old barrel organs and other instruments made in the middle Europe, old gramophones made in Tesla Litovel and new gramophones made in SEV Litovel
